On the back wall, left of the altar are an unidentified apostle (St. Matthew with his gospel?) and the remains of a portrait of St. Bartholomew with his flaying knife. Right of the altar are a damaged fresco and King David.
On the right wall the figure on the left may be St. Francis. His habit is belted at the waist, as Dominican habits are not. Right of Francis a doorway has been cut out of the wall, excising what would have been the second portrait, possibly of Francis's counterpart St. Dominic. Next is another Dominican, and then the fourth is St. Peter Martyr, distinguishable by the palm branch and the gash in his skull. The fifth portrait, not shown here, is damaged and unrecognizable.
